Traits
Permababy (Common)
"Now I never understood why people went around kissing babies, but--honey--if you're looking for forehead smooches, this is bound to give you those goo-goo eyes that make them go crazy! ...I'm not responsible for any pacifiers you might be subjected to, however."
The character's size, stature, and other traits become like that of a child for their species.
Characters with Permababy:
Injury (Common)
An injury of some sort. Could be a missing limb, a scar, a torn ear, etc.
Please refer to the Injury Guide for injury examples! Your character does not have to follow the canon examples of injuries shown on that page.
You do not have to list this trait on your character's trait list, but it is helpful to let other users know about your character's special characteristics.
Characters with Injury:
Enchanted Clothing (Common)
Your character gains enchanted clothing. The magical properties of them can vary widely, parts of the clothing may float, give off elemental effects, etc.
There isn't a limit to how many enchanted accessories your character can have.
Characters with Enchanted Clothing:
Phantom Limb (Common)
One of your character's limbs vanishes, leaving behind a smooth area that appears as if it never had a limb to begin with... Optionally: The missing limb can become "spectral", leaving behind a ghost imprint of what once was there. This ghost limb can be walked on/used normally.
There is theoretically no limit to how many limbs can be affected, but it would be a bit weird if your character just had... no legs...
(This trait can affect other areas that aren't limbs, such as tails, ears, horns, etc. Please make sure the phantom area matches the trait listed on your character's trait list!)
Characters with Phantom Limb:
Accessories (Common)
You're looking stylish!
Accessories for your character. There isn't a limit to how many or what they can look like.
- Please make sure your character design includes an unclothed version if it includes accessories and the accessories cover up important traits of the design
- You do not have to list this trait on your character's trait list, but it is helpful to let other users know about your character's special characteristics.

- All types of clothing as well, such as cloaks, capes, boots, shoes, hats, etc.
NOT ALLOWED:

Fur Styling (Common)
Fur/hair styling is GENERALLY free and up to your choice.
- Shaggy-full-body hair (even sheep-like)
- Body tufts and fluff
- Hairstyles of any type and length
- Mohawk 1 (mane-like)
- Not allowed past the head/neck. Resembles a "dragon" mane and is generally exclusive without use of a trait (if the species has one).
- Mohawk 2 (seamless blend)
- Allowed. Seamless blend with no separation between fur.
- Wing tufts--NOT ALLOWED
- Does not apply to ringings or sqwaguls. Ringlings/sqwaguls have wing tufts by default or as a common trait.

- Does not apply to sqwaguls. Sqwaguls must have scaly, non-furred feet. Can be applied with fluffy feet.

Magical Disability (Common)
Your character possesses some form of magical disability, whether it be a lack of magic, difficulty casting spells, or anything similar.
This can extend to innate magic, proficiencies, or even both. Those lacking their innate magic may lack abilities that most of their kind typically possess. (Your character could lack or struggle with 1 or 2 abilities that their species typically has, more, or even all of them at once. For example, a ringling that can fly, but cannot heal others.)
You can read about the various species' magical disabilities, how they impact them, how they accommodate for them, and more-- on their respective species pages.
For species with traits that tie into their magic, this trait bypasses them. For example, a standard sqwagul typically has average magic, however your sqwagul could be unable to cast spells despite this.
Characters with Magical Disability:
Standard Ears (Sqwagul) (Common)
A pair of alert, rabbitlike ears. They seem to give Sqwaguls a good sense of hearing, and only amplify their cuteness.
Sqwaguls aren't known for their ear variety. Anything besides these styles (or similar) are not allowed in the common tier. Other styles fall under Special Ear.
- Any of the depicted styles in the trait image are acceptable, aside from the ones that are marked as incorrect.
ALLOWED:
- Rounded, medium ears
- Slightly elongated ears
- Lopped, curled, or styled ears, so long as they retain their original shape
NOT ALLOWED:
- Ears that are pointed or sharp.
- Ears that appear too long or too short.
- Ears with strange shapes or embellishments to the point where they lose their classic shape.
If you're unsure if your idea is valid, feel free to ask.
Characters with Standard Ears (Sqwagul):
Standard Ears (Ringling) (Common)
A hallmark of the ringlings, these ethereal ears almost resemble the wings of angels.
A pair of standard, medium-sized ears.
If you're unsure if your idea is valid, feel free to ask.
Characters with Standard Ears (Ringling):
Chibi Ears (Ringling) (Common)
These cherubic ears give ringlings a rather cute appearance, don't you think?
A pair of small, cutesy ringling ears. Resembles the standard, but smaller!
NOT ALLOWED:
- Some size deviation is allowed, but the ears should not get much smaller than the example image.
If you're unsure if your idea is valid, feel free to ask.
Characters with Chibi Ears (Ringling):
Harsh Ears (Ringling) (Common)
If you ask some ringlings, these ears almost invoke the imagery of Harbingers...
Harsh, splayed ears. Tend to be wider-- almost fanned out compared to other ears--to a degree.
If you're unsure if your idea is valid, feel free to ask.
Characters with Harsh Ears (Ringling):
Laced Ears (Ringling) (Common)
Though they look like a ringling body mod, laced ears have their look all naturally!
A typical set of ears, with smaller, more clustered lace. These ears sometimes have cutouts in them by default!
- Cutout designs can be simple or even more complex.
If you're unsure if your idea is valid, feel free to ask.
Characters with Laced Ears (Ringling):
Standard Ears (Quigar) (Common)
You look rather sheepish...
Ears of animals found in ungulata.
- Quigars can also commonly lack ears at all.
If you're unsure if your idea is valid, feel free to ask.
Characters with Standard Ears (Quigar):
Curled Ears (Khludeu) (Common)
Curled ears that almost look impish.
