A strange group that idolizes the plague that the Revenants bring, the Plagued treat these strange beasts with revelry and idolation.
Origin and History
It is entirely unknown how and when the Plagued first originated. It could be assumed that they first appeared when the revenants did-- there is historical evidence of the Plagued dating far back, but no concrete timeframe. Scuffles between factions and even the Plagued themselves have likely meant that much information of their history has been destroyed.Culture and Society
As their name implies, the Plagued revere the Revenants-- specifically the "curse" that they bring. Some Plagued will follow in their wake, reveling in their destruction, others merely watch from afar, spreading their "gospel" with gleeful abandon. There are many ways that the Plagued enact their worship-- and sometimes, for them, "worship" isn't even a proper term. Some hold it closely as a religion, others as a fascination. Either way, in the end, all Plagued believe in the truth of destruction.
The Nameless
While many hold fear for that which has no name, the Plagued idolize The Nameless as one of their key figures. To be graced by its presence is a blessing, and to be touched by its death is the greatest possible honor one could be bestowed.
While some may offer up rival individuals to be marked for death, many Plagued welcome The Nameless with open arms, kneeling before it as they embrace oblivion. The faction claims that those who attain their highest honor will rise once more in perfect form, but judging by the appearance of many Wastes residents, ascension is nothing but a true horror.
