Heartsoar is an annual celebration that occurs during the month of February. This event serves as a time for people to express their emotions to one another, be it positive and doting or negative and resentful. The holiday serves as a chance for people to let others know how they're really feeling about them and be true to themselves, even if that means expressing themselves negatively. The holiday encourages expression, as its better to be honest about one's feelings instead of bottling them up. Given this duality, this holiday is also referred to as 'Heartsour' by those who tend to celebrate it negatively.

There is historical presendence that this celebration originated as a month-long worship of the dual gods of the uniserval fate, Silence and Spite. This worship was a celebration of both gods and their duality with light and darkness, the fate of mortals and the inevitibility of the death of the universe. It served to honor both gods and the part they played in the role of mortality, both positive and negative. While this holiday no longer serves to worship these gods directly, it more-or-less still reaches the touchstones of the purposes of these gods: to spread their corresponding feelings across the universe to be experienced by all. So while you express your feelings to those you love and hate, you're still offering satisfaction to those ancient gods.

This event also serves as an end to the worst of the winter months, wherein the wildlife begins to spring forth once more and revitilize the lands once laid over with snow. Rare variations of known creatures are often spotted during this time, such as the Lovedrunk Rush, Smitten Bumby, and Putto. The Flove is also popular this time of year, as they are often used to convey one's feelings rather than explicitly needing to share the thought through words. These creatures are quick to befriend their new owners and easy to care for, due to their diet consisting of only affection and attention from their owner. Flove stay with their owners until release, wherein they leave to roam about the world only to return next Heartsoar.

The holiday is hosted by a duo of sugarbeasts--Chimerical and Schism. The two desire to display their feelings to everyone they come across and let all know how they feel about the holiday. They seem to have otherworldy powers, which heavily amplify the emotions around them and influence others to participate in the holiday in a more...effective way. Though not exactly harmful, they've admitted to exerting their influence solely for the sake of "seeing what might happen." This raw power implies not everything is as it seems: many accuse the duo of not being sugarbeasts at all--but something entirely different...
