Before we move to the next exploration area, I've wanted to add a little bit more things to do with the items you can get in the Ruined Forest. With your accrued materials, even more is there for you to create with and accumulate!

Carve and paint

Lumber can be carved into new wooden figures, fun accessories to put in your showcases or give to characters.

Which one is your favorite?

You can't carve with your bare hands, though! You'll need a bit more help with that. Maybe you'll need to pick up a tool or two?

Cassandra is now selling Carving Knives. These can help you whittle down wood nicely and precisely!  Perfect for delicate work.

This, and other tools, are slightly pricier than other materials, but you'll only ever need to get one of them. They can be used indefinitely!

When you've carved something, you can paint it, if you like. Thankfully, Cass has you covered with the brush for that as well.

It's pretty easy!

With a little elbow grease, and an axe, you can now convert twigs and branches into lumber to help you make more wood carvings.

Don't ask how it works! We don't know either.

More Plants to Grow

We know how much you like plants! So we made MORE!

The recipes to make the plants now requires a watering can, but the requirement of sprouts has been reduced to 3 (down from 5.) The recipe for sprouts has also had its requirements lowered, but now requires a watering can as well.
