Transformations
Transformations are traits that allow... transformations to a character!
How many transformations can a character have?
As many as you like!
What do you need to submit a transformation design?
- The transformation item to be consumed (if needed), making sure it's attached to the update request when you submit your design update
- Items for any extra traits you wish to apply to your character
- A clear image of all forms of your character, showing off their new traits and forms
You don't need items like Design Edit Mirrors, Makeover Mirrors, or Hue Shift Towels to submit the new design, depending on the specifications of the transformation's description.
Ex.: Beast form, Devil form, Sugar Rush form, and Bewitching form all allow for shifting of traits as well as color palettes.
Can the transformation be permanent?
It depends on the specific transformation. Some allow for this, others don't.
- If you make the transformation permanent, you have to clearly state that you're doing so in the comments of your MYO/design submission, as well as in the trait notes for that transformation.
- The transformation will become the new main design for the character, and you'll have to submit a new design update to revert the change if you change your mind. You can do this for free, and you don't have to lose the transformation itself to do this. You can still keep it!
Ex.: Beast form, Devil form, Sugar Rush form, and Bewitching form all allow for becoming a permanent change
Can you combine transformations?
- You can combine minor transformations with major, more extreme ones!
- Ex.: Trait Shift with Devil Form
- At the moment, it's not possible to combine major transformations together, but you can still have as many alternate forms as you like!
- You can also combine minor transformations with other minor transformations.
- Ex.: Rainbow Form with Trait Shift
- You can combine transformations with an alternate form if it is intrinsic to your character's species.
- Ex.: Quigar Guardian form combined with Devil Form
- You can combine transformations with traits from other transformations, as long as there exists a way to apply them without combining a transformation.
- Ex.: You can have a beast form with Bewitching Body, or any other Bewitching trait by using an Enchanted Broomstick
free transformations
Certain transformations can be applied for free. Check the encyclopedia for more details!

Submitting transformations
OPTION ONE: Transformation on one page
Seen on Chimerical. Your character's transformation is displayed on their main image. This is an option for all characters with transformations, but is usually more helpful with characters with minor trait changes. Chimerical only has Imp Form, with no other changes, so this method of display is very good for them!
OPTION TWO: Transformation on different pages
Seen in Agnes. Your character's transformation is reserved for a separate tab/image.
Please visit the "Submitting MYOs" page for more information on how to submit through the different page method.
