GUIDELINES:
- Nothing NSFW (Sexual), no exceptions
- Minor gore will be allowed, such as small cuts and blood, but as players can't censor these, nothing more extreme than this is allowed.
- You can depict skeletons or skeleton markings as well!
- The submitted image must be 100 by 100 pixels in size to align with other companion images on the site.
- Mods will not edit your images for you, so please prepare the image before you submit.
- No malicious copying or theft of designs.
- You must provide credit to any artists or designers, not only so they get credit, but so the mods know who to give credit to when the companion is uploaded.
- Your companion must resemble existing companions on site, but it should not be an unmodified image.
- Ex.: you can't submit the exact image for a dragon kitterpillar, but you can add accessories, change the color, and edit the image as much as you like.
- Uploaded companions should only resemble companion species that exist on the site.
- You can draw new/custom art for the image, but it should still resemble a species onsite.
- No copyrighted material, or attempts to skirt copyright. Small references are ok, but nothing that's a 1:1 copy.
- There isn't a requirement for art style or quality. As long as your image follows the rules, it'll be accepted, no matter your art style or level.
Species
- The submitted design must match your companion's species.
- If your companion is a banded kitterpillar, it must resemble a banded kitterpillar. Again, you can redraw the art as long as it matches the species.
- The art can be of any variant of that species listed under "variants" on its page.
- You can't use event bases or make your companion look like an event companion or mimic unless if you're submitting art for a mimic.
- Your companion cannot use the EXACT patterns and colors of its legendary variant, if there is one and the companion you own is not a legendary.
- It can have similar markings and colors, but nothing that is clearly intended to copy the legendary version without actually being a legendary.
Event Companions
- Event companions can use event companion art that matches their species. They can't use art that resembles another event companion, even if it has a similar "species" to it.
- You can't use art for a Heartsour Sbee if your companion is a Heartsoar Sbee.
Mimics
- Mimics can use art that matches their species. They can't use art that resembles another mimic "species."
- Uzlings can't use Jazzie art.
- Mimics should still resemble their "mimic tier."
- A regular Uzling can be blue, but it shouldn't appear as if it is a Diamond Uzling
Anomalies
- Anomalies cannot have custom art applied to them. There appears to be some type of force that prevents them from changing their appearances.
- Similarly, Morphs can’t take the form of Anomalies, these mysterious beings are impossible for even them to transform into.
Legendaries
- Legendary companions can be customized like any other companion, and follow the same rules. They may either resemble their legendary version, or the original version or a variant of their original, non-legendary companion.
- Morphs cannot take the appearance of another legendary companion, even if the morph is legendary itself.

Morphs
These bizarre companions seem to shift and change on a whim. Regardless of their origin, they all seem to morph, granting them a special property when a custom image is applied, though they can be treated like any other companion when an image is applied as well.
Morphs are a special case. They can have art that resembles a species or thing not found onsite. They still follow the rules under "guidelines", however (Excluding the ones that don't apply due to the nature of Morphs).
- Morphs can be anything that isn't an onsite companion species/type
- They could resemble something that isn't an animal at all, such as an object
- Morphs may look like any other species onsite, provided that they aren't an event companion or mimic
- A morph could resemble a common jumpurr despite not being one.
- Morphs can still retain their original look, and be customized like any other companion.
- They still cannot resemble event pets or mimics.
- Morphs function as their own Custom Companion Bell, letting you submit one without any required items.
- Morphs can’t take the form of Anomalies, these mysterious beings are impossible for even them to transform into.
- Morphs cannot take the appearance of another legendary companion, even if the morph is legendary itself.
USAGE
- Your submitted companion will be available on the site to see by other players. It's not possible to hide them from view, so please consider this before you submit something.
- You may freely trade, sell, and gift a custom companion.
- As with all other items onsite, you cannot sell them for real money.
- You can take commissions for, or sell, custom companion concepts as long as they are concepts and don't exist onsite yet.
- You can only upload art that you designed or have permission to upload.
- Due to technical limitation,s at this time custom companions cannot be sold in user shops.
Getting your companion's page link
Getting your companion's page link is essential when submitting for a custom companion. It lets staff easily see what you are editing.
Mods will not sift through your companion list, so please make sure you have your link, or your request will be rejected.
This link is required for both submissions and edits of a custom companion.
- Go to your companion inventory and click on the companion you want to submit art for.
- In the list of dropdown items, you should see "View Page."
- Either click to visit and copy the link, or copy it directly from the link list.
- Paste this link into the submission/edit prompt.
Editing your companion
You may edit your uploaded custom companion at any time. You must continue to follow all the guidelines detailed above when submitting your request.
Editing your custom companion doesn't require any new items.
Items and add-ons
These items must be attached to the submission prompt in order to apply their effects.
- Custom Companion Bell
- Lets you upload the custom companion.
BASES
Here are bases that can be used to submit your own companions!
By using these bases, you agree to these terms:
- Credit me (CH3RVB) for the base and companion species design if you post the image offsite
- Credit Toxous instead if the base has credited her.
- Credit the user who did the edit for the base when you upload it, or whoever did the markings for the image
- You can make designs to sell or trade, but you have to make sure the person who buys them understands they will need a custom bell to upload them onsite.
