Bug Sighting!

Make usage of your SDB before you craft, as users have reported that crafting sometimes takes items that weren't selected by the user, even after other items were selected. Please make a help post with proof if this happens to you!

Crafting

Crafting is a system that lets players convert designated crafting or other materials into other items, currencies, or even companions.

How can I craft?

1. Obtain the recipe
   • Some recipes are automatically unlocked for players, while others have to be purchased or obtained.
   • You can check from the Recipe book or Encyclopedia which ones you have or can unlock.
2. Get the materials
   • Every recipe has a designated cost to craft it. It can be items, currency, or other things. Just make sure you know what you need!
   • When you go to craft a recipe or look at it from the encyclopedia, it will show the requirements to you.
   • Some recipes may have a use requirement, which is also detailed in the encyclopedia entries.
     
3. Craft the Recipe
   • If you have everything you need, you can craft the recipe. You can get the links to craft from the encyclopedia, or by clicking on the crafting tab in the navbar.
   • When you click to craft a recipe, the required ingredients will already be selected, if you have all of them.

Be careful! When the "craft" button is clicked, you can't undo the changes!

Recipe Items

Recipe items, when activated, apply a random recipe to your recipe book. The number of random recipes available depends on the item.

Buyable Recipes

Buyable recipes instantly add the described recipe to your account. They can't be transferred to other users due to how they're added to your account. If you want to "gift" someone one of these recipes, you'll have to supply them with the currency to do so.

You can only learn one copy of these recipes, so if you try to buy another, the purchase will fail!

Getting Materials

You can get materials to craft from a variety of sources. Some items, crafting materials, are specifically designed for crafting, but others may be used as well.

  • Get a crafting mystery box every time you do one of these activities:
  • Foraging, Gallery submissions, Valid donations, Claiming any valid donation item, Submitting a prompt or claim that gets accepted

Getting recipes

You can get recipes from a variety of sources.

• View Unlockable recipes
• View recipes with requirements
